Starts bragging about how much more advanced the V6 in the M4 is compared to the GT350's V8.
Why? Because it has two turbos, of course.

Calls it a v6 and works for them. If you report it to his superiors it's a good way for him to end up in a BMW work camp.

Edited for clarity, he did know the GT350 has a V8 but it's apparently 'stone-age'.

All american cars are less technically advanced than european cars, because of all the reasons.

Well he did call my car gay once... wonder if the camp will be in Germany or Poland...

Tell him, "But it makes 500HP per liter unassisted by forced induction. That means it's more advanced, not less."
I mean, that's also total bullshit, but you can't win a bullshit flinging fight with reason now can you?

I'ma need some kind of diagram and a whole lot of drugs before that starts making any kind of sense...

I'd like to think that's true.

While screaming internally. This just one of those arguments that's so dumb you can't even think of anything to say.

Plus, everyone in America is fat and will shoot you. Who puts leaf spring(s) on a plastic sportscar? Not the Germans, they use the most advanced German Engineering in every single car they make.
lol :]

Who puts leaf spring(s) on a plastic sportscar?
That's exactly the point, really - anybody criticizing that doesn't understand that says more about them than it does the car. As applied in the Vette, it's really, really effective and an out of the box solution. We need more of those.

Truth. A cousin of mine in his teenage years once said all music from before 2000 wasn't worth listening to. I have... corrected the error.

Terrifyingly, he's a fully-salaried employee on the front lines of customer service. I don't know the specific title but from what I gather all he does all day is make follow-up calls to people who've bought cars from the dealership and ask how their experience was, then fill out some kind of feedback form for each customer. Literally anyone could do it.

Yup, just 1 leaf like the Triumph Spitfire (UK) and Volvo 960/s90 (Sweden)

I mean I'm all for saying anything is better than a Ford but come on be a little bit smarter about it. Also if he really called it a v6, did you call out his stupidity.

Met this guy born in the latter end of the 90s that told me anything made prior to 2006 wasn't worth listening too. That's when music got "real".

ahhh, that figures, he's a "genius" who's a non revenue generating employee, low salary, can't cut it as a client advisor...and usually is only called upon to pair customers new phones... I don't let them talk to my customers.

I'm saddened by the rarity of Prussiaball comics on the Internet:

I think he just lacks the motivation, not the ability. The only reason he's not selling cars himself is because he doesn't want to work weekends and ignorance of the product aside he'd probably be damn good at it; he's one of those social dudes who's super-likeable and outgoing and everyone's friend which is why he's manning the phones in the first place. I just don't know how anyone can get through training without learning about BMW's history with straight-sixes.
![]() 04/08/2015 at 20:45 |

Lack of motivation is a worse offense in my opinion. I haven't got time for people like that.

That's a little too much to understand for people who get all their car know how from top gear haha.

To be fair I know a lot of people who got interested in cars from Top Gear, then from there learnt a lot more about the hobby. They can now wrench on their own stuff and don't say "in the wuuuurld" all the time.

There was a class in high school who said all old movies were bad, so their teacher showed them jurrasic park. You should've seen their faces.
